Travelin' Man

Well, Espen's passport application is in, and we should get it in time for our trip. Yay! That is one BIG to-do item checked off our list. We had to get a passport photo taken of Espen, and this is what we ended up with:

Nick and I just can't stop laughing at Espen's little mug shot! The serious look comes from Espen being a bit unsure of what was going on, as the photo guy had him stand on a chair (not something we allow at home!) and face him while we all tried to draw his attention towards the camera. No wonder he looks a little disconcerted! He cheered right up again as soon as we were done, and spent the rest of time at the Post Office chatting and playing. Little guy! He just makes my day :)

As we get closer and closer to our trip (50 days!), I'm anticipating that more and more of my attention will go towards getting ourselves ready to go. My question to you is: are you interested in what goes into the planning and execution of a 5 week trip to three countries? Let me know if you're curious about the process, and I will blog about that off and on in the coming weeks.

I've already decided that I'll be switching gears here at Project Project during the time we'll be away. Instead of the usual projects, I will be turning it into a good old fashioned travel blog where I will write about where we are and what we're up to. So you'd better start getting interested in Norway!

  5. Oh man, that picture made me laugh out loud. So cute! And I definitely do want to know your travel tips--I hate traveling with my children and we never go out of the western United States--let alone 3 countries!
